Medone Med Sept is a 60ml general antiseptic solution based on povidone-iodine, used to help clean and disinfect minor cuts, grazes and skin before treatment. Its characteristic amber solution is applied topically to help reduce the risk of infection on intact skin. Housed in a practical drop-dispensing bottle, it is a handy addition to any home or travel first-aid kit.
Apply a small amount of the solution to the affected area with clean cotton or gauze, once or twice daily or as directed. Allow it to dry on the skin. For external use on minor wounds only; do not use on deep or serious wounds without medical advice.
For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes and inner mucous membranes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Do not use on deep wounds, serious burns or broken skin over large areas without medical supervision. Discontinue use if irritation or sensitivity develops. Keep out of reach of children and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
